During the first 15 days of Ramadan, the Department of Social and Voluntary Services, overseen by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, disclosed that a collaborative effort involving 28 organizations and 3,355 volunteers resulted in an impressive total of 358,071 service hours dedicated to the Prophet’s Mosque. These volunteers undertook a wide range of responsibilities, including offering guidance to worshippers, managing crowds effectively, distributing meals and Zamzam water bottles, and attending to various inquiries from worshippers in multiple languages. Their selfless dedication and tireless efforts played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and fulfilling Ramadan experience for all visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque, highlighting the spirit of community and service that defines this holy month.
