Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, Saudi Arabia has generously donated 100 tons of dates to Pakistan, a gesture symbolizing the strong ties between the two Muslim-majority nations. Ramadan holds great significance for Muslims worldwide, marked by fasting from dawn to dusk as an act of spiritual reflection and devotion. The donation, recommended by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was presented by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Maliki and Abdullah Al-Baqami from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Center during a ceremony in Islamabad. This act of goodwill not only underscores the deep-rooted friendship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan but also serves as a testament to their enduring brotherly relations. Additionally, it highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Pakistan during significant religious occasions and further strengthens the bilateral bonds between the two nations.
