Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz of Punjab has implemented a temporary halt on job position changes and transfers across the province. Any alterations to current roles require approval from the Chief Minister herself and must be justified with valid reasons. Furthermore, Nawaz chaired a meeting aimed at establishing Punjab’s inaugural official database hub and authority. This database initiative seeks to enhance government decision-making processes concerning social and economic policies while facilitating targeted programs to aid disadvantaged individuals. Additionally, stringent measures have been directed towards addressing illegal construction and graffiti throughout Punjab to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the province. In a bid to regulate prices, the Punjab Government has instructed officials to take decisive action against hoarding and price gouging of essential commodities. District authorities have been mandated to enforce these regulations and penalize violators accordingly under the guidance of the Chief Secretary.
