With the anticipation of a surge in visitors during this spiritually significant period, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has mobilized thousands of skilled personnel to ensure the smooth functioning of operations and to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises. The Grand Mosque has been outfitted with extensive facilities to meet the diverse needs of worshippers, including over 25,000 new carpets, 50 ablution stations, 3,000 toilets, 15,000 containers for Zamzam water, and 150 traditional drinking fountains.
