As part of its extensive Ramadan program in Pakistan, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has undertaken a significant initiative by distributing 800 food parcels in Balochistan province. This distribution effort, which targeted areas including Pasni, Gwadar, and Panjgur, reflects the ERC’s commitment to providing essential support to communities in need during the holy month of Ramadan. The ERC’s involvement in Pakistan is part of its broader Ramadan campaign titled ‘Ramadan Continuous Giving,’ which seeks to extend assistance to approximately 1.8 million individuals across the UAE and 44 countries globally. Through this campaign, the ERC aims to address various aspects of humanitarian need during Ramadan, including providing Iftar meals, Zakat Al Fitr, Eid clothing, Ramadan food parcels, and organizing Iftar gatherings. With an initial expenditure of Dh37.6 million, the ERC’s initiatives are poised to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in Pakistan and beyond, embodying the spirit of generosity and solidarity that defines the Ramadan season.
