“Asif Ali Zardari Sworn In as Pakistan’s 14th President”

Asif Ali Zardari, the Co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), officially assumed the office of the 14th President of Pakistan following his decisive victory in the presidential election held a day prior. The solemn oath-taking ceremony took place at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Sunday, presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa.

In a momentous occasion attended by distinguished dignitaries and officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, outgoing President Arif Alvi, and the heads of all three branches of the military, Asif Ali Zardari solemnly pledged to uphold the duties and responsibilities entrusted to him as the nation’s president.
