Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, recently embarked on a significant three-day visit to Saudi Arabia, where he attended a notable Iftar event hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah on Sunday. As reported by The News, the Iftar was graciously hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and saw the attendance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and the Crown Prince of Bahrain. The event was characterized by the breaking of the fast together, symbolizing unity and camaraderie among the attendees. A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office revealed that the Crown Prince extended a special invitation to Prime Minister Shehbaz’s delegation for the Iftar event, underscoring the significance of the visit. Notably, the guest list for the Iftar included Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and members of the federal cabinet, as mentioned in the official announcement. Prime Minister Shehbaz’s visit to Saudi Arabia commenced on Saturday, spanning from April 6 to 8, and his accompanying delegation comprises esteemed federal ministers, including Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, and Ahad Khan Cheema. This visit holds strategic importance in strengthening bilateral ties and exploring avenues for mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
